SUMMARY
The Client Privileged Access Team is responsible for managing user access for client systems and ensuring compliance with established protocols. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with clients, operations, and implementation teams to facilitate new user requests, maintain access records, conduct audits, and support deactivation processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES
New User Requests (New Implementations):
- Collaborate with the implementation team to establish relationships with client contacts for the activation and deactivation of user access.
- Identify and complete all requirements for new access, including form completion, user training, background checks, Federal EPLS screening, fingerprinting, credit checks, and personal credential validation.
- Document monthly audit requirements to reconcile outstanding access and follow up on open requests, ensuring completion before project start dates.
- Knowledge Base Maintenance:
- Continuously update the Client Access Knowledge Base with any changes in client contacts or access requirements, ensuring communication with operations for a seamless process.
- New User Requests (Existing Clients):
- Receive and process new user requests from operations via email until ServiceNow is fully implemented.
- Verify submission criteria and track requests, following up weekly on outstanding submissions or advising requestors on missing information.
- Outstanding Requests Follow-Up:
- Conduct weekly follow-ups with client contacts regarding outstanding requests, documenting progress until completion.
- Deactivation Requests:
- Process deactivation requests submitted via ServiceNow, collaborating with client contacts to remove unnecessary user access.
- Monitor and manage employee access based on terminated reports from Active Directory.
- Monthly Audits:
- Assist in user access audits at both the client and finance levels, generating reports and identifying discrepancies against the existing access list.
- Engage with staff to clarify access needs and manage the credential request process, documenting any access sharing incidents for InfoSec tracking.
- Payer Portal Access Requests:
- Monitor payer access requests while coordinating with operations and clients for approval processes, especially for client-managed permissions.
- Scope of Access Requests:
- Handle access requests for various client platforms, including EMR systems, document imaging, case management, UR platforms, billing systems, and payer sites.
Volume Management:
- Track and report on the total number of clients and their respective access volumes for adherence to organizational requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimal 3 years of experience in Client Access
- Proven experience, including growing a team
- Experience building a Client Access function or materially maturing an existing program
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions and supporting a diverse workforce required; healthcare/medical billing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with access management protocols and auditing processes is preferred
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar access management tools is a plus.
Benefits
The position salary range range starts at $46,000. The US base pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered.
