Introductory Summary
Aspirion is seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and coordinate complex engineering and infrastructure programs across our organization. This individual will work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, product, and other internal teams to drive successful execution of technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence. The TPM will combine strong program management capabilities with technical fluency to ensure on-time delivery, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional technical projects involving software engineering and AI-driven solutions.
- Partner with engineering, data engineering, product management, cybersecurity, and IT teams to define and deliver project scope, deliverables, schedules, and success metrics.
- Provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify impact of tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
- Serve as the point of contact for all program communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders, leadership, and team members.
- Monitor program health using metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing actionable strategies to drive efficiency.
- Manage project dependencies, risks, and resource constraints, ensuring proactive problem resolution and change management.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and champion Scrum or Kanban practices where appropriate.
- Foster strong team collaboration and stakeholder alignment, bridging communication between technical and non-technical partners.
- Drive the adoption of modern tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana) to enhance visibility and reporting.
- Support the organization’s AI-first initiatives by incorporating automation, AI tooling, and machine learning workflows into project execution strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimal 5 years of experience in technical program or project management roles within engineering or infrastructure environments.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and enterprise systems.
- Experience managing technical programs related to application development, DevOps, infrastructure modernization, or cloud security.
- Proficient with Agile project management methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to earn trust, influence, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and execute on strategic priorities.
- Proven ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST, or HITRUST.
- Experience supporting initiatives that include AI/ML capabilities or automation tooling.
The position salary range starts at $105,000. The US base pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates may be eligible to receive a bonus tied to achieved results.
